Scientific American commisioned me to spend the day with the farmers at the Maine Flower Collective. The MFC is a flower growers’ cooperative that focuses on creating a collaborative and sustainable floriculture industry of local flower growers interested in seasonal blooms as an alternative to imported flowers.
